Fish gate

My first attempt at building a gate for my neighbor. Plasma cut the fish and did random bends for the "water". The expanded metal was to keep the dog in the yard.

Ok. Another place to come to when I need a break from the physical work. And see that there are other people doing work akin to what I do. Working solo is great except when I need feedback on what I'm doing. I'm happy to be here and hope that I can contribute to the community here. this is a gate and fence project that I'm just about ready to paint and install...if it ever stops snowing here. Ray

I was looking at others gates and saw some nice work! I will submit my modest attempt at home security, welded 1.5" thin wall square tube. with remote garage door opener attached.

This the side of the gate that the doggies see! It's got a nice green patina on the lower copper piece that goes well with the lawn.

This is a gate that was built and installed that will allow the owners to let their dogs run free in the yard.
This view is from the carport. It's what they see when they come home. The gate swings both ways and has a simple weighted latch.
