Pushing further into my experiments with Raw unprimed sheets and just torch . This gentleman's name is Sam , he's a friend of mine who lives on a remote gulf island . This is looking from the back of the ferry boat at the island in the distance .

In this video I anneal a small scrap of copper to a dark grey , and use ink to lay in a few initial marks , for the sake of this demo . Usually I would go much larger / more detailed , and use solely brush and water ; there is an example of this technique too , near the end of the video .
This is the abstract landscape ( with my reflection taking the picture ) that came out of the oven after about ten minutes at 400 degrees - a complete one-off fluke . Clean sheet of 120z copper.
