bronze | Other Metal Gallery Something that has been laying around for quite a while and finally felt time to get it done. Lorrie you probably remember when I started on it. Heck of a time figuring out how I wanted to go with it. Originally it was suppose to be a simple snail with the snail body. Well I thougt it would look better as a vase so came up with this. » read more | 8 comments Waterfalling

bronze | setting | thickness | TIG | welding Hi, I am an inexperienced tig welder trying to weld a small ear to a larger horse body- the body is about 12" high, and pretty thick- close to 1/4" thick walls.(cast). The ear is about 1/4 x 1/2". The ear just melts into a blob, and the stub on the main body just plops. My new website!

Casting bronze | casting | lost wax casting | mold making | mold pouring wax | wax | wax model Is it possible to use a fiberglass mold to pour a wax? If not I suppose I'll have to pour a fiberglass model to make another mold from. Any suggestions or experience out there? » ck's blog | 4 comments This Idea Shall Too Evolve by David Barnhill 2008

I am currently working on 4 more- all different, and some that are much more complex. It was based off of one of my sketches, but I will have to go digging for it. Newbie looking for someone to repair bronze/white metal sculpture

bronze | repair | sculpture | white metal Hello all. I'm sure this question has been asked, but I've been searching for a couple of hours (starting with Google) and haven't found my answer. I am looking for someone on the East Coast (NJ/NY area) that can provide me with a repair estimate for a damaged bronze (possibly white metal) sculpture. I am in the process of filing an insurance claim with the Post Office, and need to provide some form of proof for repair or replacement cost. |
