I am casting 50 deer antlers in bronze; testing
out Shellspen ceramic shell for the first time,
because the investment is such a hassle... my
wrists can't take the weight anymore... anyway,
the forms are so linear and "vent like"
themselves, that I am wondering if I need to add
additional vents. Casting them solid. I am
spruing 2 antlers together in sort of a circle,
with the cup at the wide ends... all tips are
connected to the body of the antlers with
3/8" sprues. Not having to add additional vents
would help the strength of the piece... must I??
