My first attempt at a modern, horse themed window grille.

I needed some doors to separate my kitchen from my pantry. After mulling it around for awhile, I decided to cut circles from pipe and added a few found objects. I randomly filled some with stained glass and backed the whole thing with shear fabric to let light come through the glass.

Happy New Year Everyone!

2011 ended on a positive note, sold some work including 2 larger sculptures. My railing continues, here's the third section. Just needs patination and clear coat. Then installation.

Railing: Incorporating a tree branch

We had to intertwine this branch into the railing which wasn't an easy job without having it snap! I do have a few space to fill.I will have to weld another branch to close the over 4" gaps...SteelyJa

I have someone to thank here on Art Metal as the welding of these sections went a lot better than expected. I always seem to have issues with my 110 MIG welder, I don't weld very well with it. Wire gets jammed, all types of issues!
