Tinsmiths use this to roll the edge of the handles and the lip of cups. I make a lot of these Moravian Candles and the handles for the candle holders take so much time to hand hammer the rolled edge. Please let me know if anyone knows of such a tool and where can I could possibly get one.

I am new to artmetal and I hope to make new friends and learn more about working with metal.

I have worked as a bench jeweler in the past and just recently set up a custom jewelry design/repair shop in a caboose in the Sandhills of Nebraska.

New 3D silouette sculpture

Here is a new piece I did over the weekend. I have the idea for a while, just finally took the time Saturday. It is mild steel and copper and is about 28 inches tall.

It's funny that when something is supposed to happen, it seems to come so easy. Time flies when it's fun.

Question about forming small copper box

Hello all, I've lurked here for awhile but now that I've made a couple simple things I thought I'd get more involved.

But first I have a question/problem. I want to form a small box from copper, maybe 4" x 6" at the base and about 4-5" tall. It may sound a little odd, but it actually doesn't need a bottom - just the top and 4 sides.

Architect wanting to learn as much as possible about bending and forming alluminum sheets for new project

I am an architect that is working on a project where I would turn a sheet of alluminum into an architectural element. To do this I need to learn how I can fasten them, how I can bend the sheets, and any other application that i could use to form a mobile kiosk out of alluminum sheets.
