This was my first attem[t at using Patina. This was a project just did not happen in a good way at all.
I learn from the mistakes I make. So I'm getting pretty smart.

The Wife wanted something very simple and delicate over the Fireplace. We are once again remodeling, and I had some scrap copper laying around so I cobbled up this peice. She loves it!! I'm not so sure I care for it to much, but it's growing on me.

Hello all,

My name is Kelly Johnston. I've been doing fabricated metal sculpture for about 5 years now, after previously doing graphic and product design. I mainly do abstract contemporary wall art in steel, copper and brass, with emphasis on torch coloring, transparent tints and patinated finishes. I previously designed in the home accessories industry for Artisan House Fine Metal Sculpture and have recently started a wall sculpture line for NOVA Lighting.
