Weld Planishing/Annealing/Grain Size/Mechanical Properties

I'm wondering if anyone out there can help me with an issue I'm having at work.

I work for a metal fabricator, and we weld tubular products out of stainless steel and inconel metals. We typically then form them into corrugated products, or bellows.

College Art Project: Need information on welding pure copper pennies for art project...

HI :)

I am an art student doing a material exploration project, and the material I chose is pre-1983 pure copper pennies. I have thought of casting them, but I want to keep the original art of the penny as well, so I am going to weld them instead. Correct me if I am wrong. Like I said this is an experiment for me. I am usually an art student who studies glass.

Studio Setup

Good morning all!
I'm new to the site, and after taking a year off from any metal work, I'm attempting to get back into the swing of things, and attempting to set up a studio at home.
Being a product of an average 4 year college, I am rather at home with being in a school metals studio, but have never had to set up a studio from the ground up.

need a tip: welding light cast to square cold-rolled

Working on a decorative gate, need to weld light cast disks to flat cold-rolled. I can't even cut this $#!t.

We see this stuff in every form all over town. I made this from my cut out's in record time. I was just bored. But it gets the point across. It's hot here!!!

My wife's favorite of my recent stuff. It is in our inner office "If you know what I mean" for carefeul and contimplation.
I wanted to creat something with Flow and relaxing. I like the Bubbles personally!

Sometimes in life we all have this problem. It reminds me to take it easy and keep it simple. Not every thing has to perfect, or complex. I deal with that crap enough at work.
