My goal with Childhood Disenchantment was to incorporate stone into a steel sculpture. To my delight it won an award of merit, 3D at an art exhibit this spring.

This is another garden piece, tentatively titled "Shoot the Moon". There is a 50 cal. brass and various plumbing fixtures involved. It may end up on a different stone with something other than a frog to cover the epoxy.

I've gotten pretty fond of hammered metal. The rods began to look like grass fronds to me.
I switched to copper from bronze a while ago as I liked the patina of the copper.
I've found a place with some really good rocks here in Houston that I can buy for cheap. This rock is from a Canadian river bed.
