Draped Pendant

This is a pendant made with sterling and 24k gold foil. The gold foil was applied, then the form was created in a swage block and then I textured the form. I added a wire swirly bail and a few fine silver balls and called it 'done'...but now I'm thinking of reworking the bottom part - just seems to bare down there.

There have been a couple of blog posts re: cold connections. I began my 'metal' art by working in wire, from there I moved to incorporating some sheet but working all cold. (then I moved to a torch for headpins and reticulating and from there it was an easy jump to soldering...lol)

I have been learning some fold forming, from Lewton-Brains site and ganoksin and other online jewelry forums. I am only beginning to scratch the surface, but here are some pieces I have done.
