"The Big Cheese #4" Standing Sculpture (25x29x43) is constructed in welded aluminum. This version includes many intersecting bubbles of various diameters. The "Big Cheese" can be commissioned in any size, and also in steel, stainless steel, or with various patinas.

Leaning Willow - Wire Tree Sculpture
10" X 9" X 9" Made with 24 and 26 gauge gold color wire. Planted on a 5 inch round base using sea sand and various size pebbles. The sea sand is painted in yellows and greens using India ink to look like moss covered earth.

Aluminum Chandelier

Hi all, I finally finished a chandelier I have been working on for a long time. It's 48" in Diameter and about 40" tall and is fabricated out of Aluminum tubing and sheet with the leaves created using Fold Forming and a custom made chain. Every single piece was custom made. It has dimming incandescent lights and blue LED lights on two different switches so you can vary the look. It was a huge learning experience figuring out how to create a light that looked great, could function as it was supposed to, and could be maintained/repaired without using a plasma torch, in fact, many pieces were made at least two times as i foresaw hurdles in replacing lights, wiring, etc. I can't wait to do another one, especially since I've muscled out most of the pitfalls.

Changing color of anodized aluminum parts

A videographer friend who knows I weld/sculpt in steel, asked me a question about anodized aluminum, and I could not find a thread here that could answer it. He has some small parts/knobs that are currently red anodized aluminum, and wants them anodized black, so they will blend in with the rest of his gear.

Casting Aluminium in back garden. Now looking to explore/discuss all aluminium finishes.

A few years ago, through my A level DT project, I designed a piece of outdoor furniture (table/bench set). Origionally made in all wood, I'm now about to start sand casting the major structural components in aluminium.
