&lt;p&gt;Ok, so here is the short story on this piece. My inlaws had this in their house for more than 45 years. We know it came from Cape Cod. We think it came from Wellfleet. It is clay and wood on a wood backing. 7 foot wide by 5 tall.  Weights in at 158 lbs. No name, no paperwork, my mother inlaw knew the whole story about this piece. Sadly they are both gone now.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Help with casting...I think?</title>

&lt;p&gt;I am very new here and looking for some help.  My background is in ceramics.  I have only taken two classes in metal art.  I would love any help with this.  How do mass produce a metal version of an object made out of clay and what is the best metal to use if the object will be outside?&lt;/p&gt;
