Repairing a tear...

Good day to all, I am new to this forum and would like to know if and how a repair to a repousse piece can be made? The piece is .016 in thickness an I did not go too deep, or so I thought. I will be using .02 thick copper in the future, but if this happens again, I'd like to know the best way to repair it.

Hello to all,

About a year ago I decided this would be nice middle ground between pencil drawing and motorcycle fabrication. I am really enjoying it. After a bunch of getting the feel of things type projects I feel bold enough to share a finished piece with the group.

Here are some vessels that I finished up last week. I tried a few different things.

First one is a bowl around 11 inches and on a little base. Here I did a little chasing and ended up with a star at the bottom. Patina is a mix of liver of sulphur (LOS) and ammonia chloride. Blue bowl

Anticlasic Raising in Free-Form

This is a piece of Copper scrap I found in my Studio, which was a negative from some flames I cut out a while ago. I filed down the edges, and used the Anticlastic technique to see how the shape would react to it. I got some amazing curves, and the transitions are smooth. With more practice, and a wider range of sinusoidal stakes I'm positive I will be able to create some amazing pieces.
