This is the door I recently finished for the shop entrance. Yellow popular, white pine (for the door jam and arch) with glass from a local glass artist. Still need to make a door handle!

New image from a beginner

Well, it is with great trepidation that I put some of my images up on this website with the likes of Janet Rutkowski, Bill Roberts, Paula Jensen, J.R, Trenton Tye, and so many of the other amazing artists on this website. Please bear in mind that I am the rankest of beginners. This is a bud vase I made for some friends using an old bolt they pulled out of an abandoned well on their property. The finish on the steel is hydrogen peroxide and salt (figured it would blend in nicely with the natural rust on the bolt) with a coat of paste wax. The wood is bittersweet vine and the orchid is copper.
