I am currently looking for a summer internship/apprenticeship in New York City and perhaps someone could point me towards a shop that might be interested. While I am developing my skills as a welder in class, I know that the real test of my abilities will come from daily practice working in the shop. Introduction

GTAW | TIG | welder I'm finally ready to add a TIG welder to the studio. I have a small MIG welder (Millermatic 135) and a couple of buzz-box stick welders (Lincoln AC and Wards AC/DC). I do stainless with the MIG, and when I looked into adding aluminum capability (new liner or reel-gun) I decided I may as well get a new machine. tig welding jewelry

bronze | setting | thickness | TIG | welding Hi, I am an inexperienced tig welder trying to weld a small ear to a larger horse body- the body is about 12" high, and pretty thick- close to 1/4" thick walls.(cast). The ear is about 1/4 x 1/2". The ear just melts into a blob, and the stub on the main body just plops. |
