this was a stair rail that consisted of 40 ft of reverse twist railing(which i started trying to figure out after seeing e. vegas twisting machine on his website several years back....) i used different kinds of bar stock through-out, square,hex,rectangle cold and hot rolled steel.

the completed tree railing, it was about 38' total. i used 6 44# rolls of mig wire to weld the bark, several hundred flap wheels to taper the branches, things i lost count of: hours it took (about 8 months i think!!)and a huge amount of propane, oxygen, and acetylene for the shaping.
