I needed some doors to separate my kitchen from my pantry. After mulling it around for awhile, I decided to cut circles from pipe and added a few found objects. I randomly filled some with stained glass and backed the whole thing with shear fabric to let light come through the glass.

For the birds

For the birds

We moved to a new house in Dec. and Phil, my husband, has been missing our old bird feeders. I finally got the time to make him a new one. It is about 8' tall and has several cups and a plate for seed, and hooks for the humming bird feeders.

Moving

I have been playing with making mobiles, lately. This one has great movement and was a pain to photograph as it kept changing. Lin

copper light fixture

This light fixture is made of 16oz. copper and stained glass in the filligrees. I was going for a rustic or folksy affect. The copper sheet is being allowed to age naturally without chemicals. It presently hangs in our home.

This is one of the small pieces I made for the new show, combining steel and stained glass. I am still an awful photographer. Lin

After a really slow winter, things seem to be picking up some in Northern Arizona. One of the galleries I am in sold one of my Iris pieces and another sold a Dogwood sculpture several hours after I dropped it off.

The Hummingbird and the Hedgehog

The Hummingbird and the Hedgehog is a piece I just finished for a gallery show featuring the high desert area around us.

I keep playing with metal and glass, trying to make pieces that don't take too much time to make and that I can sell and still make some money on.
