plasma cutting Hi every one, I was asking in an earlier post about what kind of shade I would need for plasma cutting. So I went and both a pair of grade 5. Since they are quite dark, I was wondering, what should I use to trace the contour of the piece I want to cut. If I use, for exemple a black marker, I'm not sure I will be able to see enought to make a precise cut. What would you use for marking and tracing? I've got it, my Hipertherm 30 that is

plasma cutting Hi again, We have talked before about 75 feet of pipe for the air to dry. I would like to know, as a temporary mesure if I could use a 100 feet of hose (compressor hose) as piping?. You see, soon I will move into a bigger shop. That why I'm asking... hot vs cold rolled

Steel plasma cutting | Sheet metal I seem to often reverse the correct description of hot rolled sheet metal vs cold rolled sheet metal. Selling Pieces? How does a person go about pricing their "stuff"

aluminum | Grinders | mig welding | plasma cutting | sheet steel Hi, I was wondering how artists go about "pricing" their work? I have a few people asking me to "name a price" and I do not have a reference, where do I start? Cheap? ask what I "work" for (35.00 per hour as a weekender mechanic) or? UNKnXfire's work

metal | plasma cutting | rustic design | welding Well like many metal enthusiasts before me, I am new to metal art and new to this site. My initial plan was to get into plasma cutting using a CNC table, but all my hard research is making my head spin. so I think I'm going to stick to freeform plasma cutting. I actually feel a bit better about that and think that I can be more creative (although don't get me wrong, when I see the lovely signs, gates, and other images that are done on a cnc table I still would love to have one, it's just that the cost isn't for me at this time.) |
