According to author, musician, neuro-scientist, Daniel Levitin in his book; "This is Your Brain on Music" ( a New York Times best-seller, Plume Printing 2006) , an expert or master of any craft is measured by that person practicing their craft for 10,000 hours. homage | master | teacher | teachers Dear friends, I hope you are not getting tired of my recent e-mails. There is just one more thing I wanted to share with you all. Shortly before Christmas, the members of the National Silversmiths Guild in Bulgaria celebrate The Day of the Master. They pay respect to their teachers and express appreciation for their sharing of knowledge and experience. It is a heartfelt and beautiful way to say thank you.  |
