Hello everybody-
I have found answers to my questions (thanks) but have one I can't seem to find. I have been making chairs out of rebar using a wire-feed welder but want to start using oxy-acetylene - just because I like fire... I have done some cutting and brazing but mostly just stuff I hang in the trees in the back yard, nothing I want to sit on. So, my question is what size tip should I use w/ my (medium-duty) outfit? And are there any tricks to welding rebar?

This is a simple small End Table I made for my tiny tiny House.
Steel Fabrication with a Black Granite 18x18 Square reminate.
Painted it Black to match the other Furnishings.
It didn't come out to bad, hope the Wife likes it!

Is it a radio or is it a shelf? Not sure. But I do know it weighs about 250 pounds.

I prefer to think of it as a night stand. The top light is halogen, adjustable to throw a light on your book. The body light shines through mica and is operated by touching anywhere on the metal.
