If anyone lives in or visits the NY/ NJ/ CT Metro Area and wants to see some of the western worlds most amazing silversmithig and chasing, visit the Met in NYC.
In the American wing of the met, upstairs, (you can walk up an actual sullivan staircase, for all you architecture buffs out there) there are a few large cases of silver Holloware. This is not just average shiny silver.

This is my first try at chasing/repousse...its a plaque for a dear friend who is losing his battle with cancer, would like any and all comments on my piece. Please dont be shy on your comments I know Im far from perfect need to work on smoothing those lines out...
