Bronze Calendar Art Medals

Hello ArtMetal world,

I am a newcomer to this site and have seen that there are some incredibly talented metal artists here. For those who interested, I have few hundred Limited Edition Bronze Calendar Art Medals that I don't particularly need, but would like them to go to someone who could use them for a good purpose. These intricate medallions were created to use as decorations and commemorations, but they could be used for any artistic purpose (ie. melting the bronze for other projects).

Evil

Read, "Further Along the Road Less Traveled" by M. Scott Peck M.D. and created this image from reading pages 38-39.
"It is important to realize that blaming is fun. Anger is fun. Hatred is fun. And like any pleasurable activity, it is habit forming- you get hooked on it.

FingerPrint Jewelry

| | |

I have been making hand stamped jewelry for 7 years now and I just love the art of this process.  It centers me.  But as you run any successful business, you need to offer new products to keep customers buying.  I would like to offer finger print jewelry this year... but need to sub out the orders and collaborate with a true silversmith and artist.  I am not at the point right now where I want to get into that skill set, but would like to work with someone.. .I'll sell.  You make.  We each add a successful business component to our studios.  If anyone is interested in this, I am in NJ - my web site is www.sugartopsllc.com or https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/SugarTops-LLC/127291599159

Bronze casting

Casting | | |

I am casting small bronze figures, up to 2kg finished weight, the larger ones cored.  The investment is Molochite with alcohol-based binder (Laksil), and I find this system quick and easy to use.  I use pre-formed and pre-cooked fire cement for the cores, applying the wax to them, the core is left in situ.  This works.

Bronze pieces

Bronze pieces

Ancient Bronze

I have recently acquired some beautiful Viking bronze fragments (that really have no value themselves) that I would like to make into necklaces and possibly bracelets. Would you suggest drilling a hole into the bronze and then using a jump hoop or should I learn how to solder bronze to bronze. These pieces are over 1,000 years old. I am cleaning most of them and keeping the patina on a few pieces.

Pyrometer with Dip probe.

Casting | | | | |

I'm new to this so please be patient with me. I hope to cast Aluminium and Bronze.
I'm looking for a guide on how to build a 'pyrometer' with a 'Dip probe'. I've found a list of bits I think I'll
need off 'ebay'. Are there any guides or plans out there. I've got a tight budget, dont really want to buy one of the shelf.
