8"H x 5"W x 5"D. Made of 24 gauge steel wire that was allowed to rust, producing a warm dark brown color. The tree is bonded to a small piece of slate, covered with sea sand and pebbles, then painted in yellow, green and white India ink. The sand and pebble mixture has the appearance of moss covered earth. The sculpture is planted in a rectangular, light green, glossy ceramic container. This sculpture includes a small bamboo platform. All the colors used are "light fast" and will not fade.

Made using 24, 26, 28 galvanized steel wires.17"H x 18"W x 16"D. This tree sculpture has a solid trunk and large root system necessary to support the many upper branches.

Copper Island Wire Tree Sculpture
Created using 26 and 28 gauge bare copper wire. 10"H x 10"W x 8"D. The ends of each of the 26 gauge wire is hammered flat creating delicate thin copper leaves. The root system winds its way down and is bonded into a mound of sand and pebbles. A triangular antique clay brick is interlocked in the root system and the mound. The mound is made of sea sand and pebbles and is painted in yellows and greens using India ink. All is set in a 7" round clay container that matches the color of the brick.

Created by using 22,24 & 26 gauge gold color wire. 15"H x 9"W x 9"D. The end of each wire is hammered flat producing a delicate flat gold leaf. The bending and twisting roots cling to a mound of rocks and pebbles and all is bonded in sea sand.

Created with 18, 20, 26 gauge galvanized steel wire. The end of each wire is then hammered flat to form the shape of a small leaf. The hundreds of leaves are hand painted in enamel paint using yellows, golds and reds to create a "fire" of Autumn colors. Two antique clay brick pieces are used to visually stabilize the tree structure into a dark green rectangular glazed ceramic container. The tree is planted into a lawn of sea sand and pebbles which are painted with India ink to give the appearance of moss.
