Mighty Oak Bonsai - Wire Tree Sculpture
20"H x 16"W x 16"D. Made using 22, 24 and 26 gauge steel wire. This wire has not been galvanized so it is allowed to rust producing a soft dark brown and black matte finish. Some highlights in the tree sculpture are created by using a bright silver color wire under the rusted wire. The tree is planted and bounded onto a rectangular black ceramic base with sea sand, small pebbles and several larger rocks. The sea sand mixture is painted in several coats of yellow, green and white India ink. The color and texture of the surface of the mound gives the feel and appearance of moss covered earth. A few of the larger rocks are painted in colors producing a moss cover. All the colors used are "light fast" and will not fade. # 32-07 $1,285.00
