When the bus was pulled into the back lot, everyone was instructed to go to the commissary and have some cookies and milk while the makeup crew refurbished the bus. Â "Not to worry" they were told, "we just need to do a slight makeover for the next scene coming up. Â After that youse can have your bus back and be on your way." Â "Ain't we goin' to be in the movie too?" asked Rikolo. Â "Nah, we don't needja, 'sides youse ain't Equity and we're only usin' method actors anyway." Â "Oh damn" replied a disappointed Rikolo as he slumped back into his seat, "I wanted to be a movie star." Â He sulked over his glass of milk.

After shooting the scene, where the bus is nearly demolished by crashes, explosions and general havoc, it was stripped of it's props and returned. Â Somehow it didn't seem the same now, after it's glamorous but brief flirtation with stardom. Â "Can't live with the look a' this now" commented Krik, "not after seein' the possibilities. Â Guess the only thing to do is to go on up ta Macgrin's an' see if we can spruce up the outside of the ol' bus a li'l bit." Â "Yeah, bummer, I wish we coulda kept some o' the neat stuff, but hey, we can do better ourselves. We don't need no Hollywood types tellin' us how to make it look better." replied Rikolo.
The bus then headed up the coastal highway, after a much needed rest from it's strenuous duties. Â
