At sunrise the following morning, Rikolo arose, yawned and scratched in the usual places and puttered to the bathroom. The sluffing sound from outside the window aroused his bleary curiosity and so he peeked through the musty panes. He saw Krik cheerfully applying a brilliant blue coating of paint over the untreated and rust spotted body of the old bus. "Jeez", thought Rikolo, "I guess I gotta go along with him now. How can I refuse my friend when I told him I'd go along if we painted it"
