A commission that one doesn't get every day: the hanging chandelier above is for a reproduction of a medieval defense tower in America; it weighs 250 kg and has 20 light sources. The double rings are made of 120/12 mm flat steel stock which has been hammered on the edges. The holders for the lights are made of square stock hammered into conical shapes. The chain is about 4 meters long and made of fire-welded elements. The chandelier has been brushed clean and painted black. The gate with its side panels is about 1.7 m wide and 1.2 m high. The frame is made of 20/20 square stock, the interior pieces of 20/12 mm flat stock which has been forged. At the connection points it has been either fire-welded, pierced, riveted, or bound.
