Hear is a little project that I have been working on since I have all of this time now without the day job. I started on the idea and little bits around three years ago. It is for me and the wife so always got put on the back burner. OT: What's QuiQue Up To?

OT: Sandbox YAK yak I know I haven't been around ArtMetal for awhile and felt a need to communicate with the community on what I've been up to. Especially since I just finished witnessing a friend passing from this reality and watching how the local community responded to his passing. Pewter Suppliers?

Fabrication pewter sheet | pewter suppliers Anyone have a supplier link for pewter sheet? Search results are pretty skimpy and the available sizes are rather limited. I'm looking for sheets along the line of 24 x 36", 18 gauge. I could probably solder small sizes together but the continuity of a single sheet would work better. Seeking Coppersmith

copper | coppersmith I am seeking a skilled coppersmith. I am in charge of building a new steeple for the Catholic Cathedral of Downtown Charleston SC. It will be copper clad. It is a wonderful and beautiful project that will be part of history. Planishing

Whitesmithing copper | hammer | planishing Hi, I have recently been commisioned to do a Firefighter's garden style weather vane. Part of my design is to build a fireman's helmet which I have done. My problem is that I have not really done any planishing before and I would like to get all the little hammer marks and hills and valleys out of the helmet so that it is very smooth. Please let me know if anyone could tell me how to do this. I don't have a pitch bowl or english wheel and it is too late to get one now because the deadline is approching very soon. pewter patina's ???

I think I'll just tease everyone because I'm so pysched!!! Put a finalization to 2 pieces that have been sitting arund. One was the small piece I posted before( which way up) found the perfect solution!!!! mounted it on a backing of stained wood , can be wall hung or put on the table. Forged Table

Blacksmithing Here's a table I just finished. This was a good challenge for me, as it helped to bring my forging skills to a new level. The top is a sheet of plywood clad in copper and then a light brown patina primitive car cult mask from the upper piedmont region
