Silent Auction Was a Huge Success!!!!!

Hi Art Metalists!!!!!!

Well I have to tell you my auction was a huge success....so follow my lead. Of course you must be willing to give up your work....for a song....It's okay!
I have a lot of pieces that have been laying around collecting dust while I'm trying to foot the bill for the Florence Biennale...Mostly all the small scale sculpture went....gone...adios! I priced them from $60.- $300. But my loyal clients and dearest friends who I have built so much work for....came through with their constant love and support and bought 2 pieces of furniture and a few small pieces....Guess what ! I made enough money for our plane fare + hotel!!!! Yeah baby!!!!!I'll post more pictures....SteelyJan

It was just one of those nights that worked......
please remember that I really make the small pieces super
affordable.....I have a lot of very supportive clients and friends....I have to take care of my mom this week ...but I can't wait to get back to my studio...I had a lot of fun making those small pieces...want to weld away...

Having work coming up for when I get back from Italy, so that's good. Some of my dearest friends/clients just bought a new place and new some new pieces and I have that large scale commission......It's a great start,creatively to a new year...

Congrats on the good sales at your show. You must have a place large enough to have such a venue. Not sure if my cup of tea though selling the art work because collecting dust. But hey why dust it when someone will buy it. Have fun on your trip, a little envy.
