How many

SteelyJan,
Nice flyer, so not being too personal how many of these are you sending out? Do you do all of the lay out and then send to a print shop or do you print up your own? I need to get something like that together but not sure of what direction to go.
I take it you have a mailing list from prior shows?

If you want to print out a

If you want to print out a lot of fliers for cheap, i use sites like clubflyers.com, there are quite a few out there. You can get 5000 full color, double sided, uv coated post cards for about $150 just to give you an idea on pricing. They also do cd covers and business cards all the way up to 3 page fold out fliers. They can usually have them in the mail to you within 48hrs. You have to come up with your own graphics and make sure you follow their color advice, but other than that it's a piece of cake. You can even get a proof, if you don't mind waiting a few extra days, which I suggest for important stuff.

I haven't been able to find a local printer to come anywhere close to the prices. Last time I checked it was $600 for 1000!!! If you don't need 5000 for an event or what not, you can print them up with good basic images and contact info and do what Casey did. She left an open space in the layout and just prints up stickers with the appropriate info for the event and slaps them on. At only $150 I always just make sure I hand out the 5000, lol. The more people the better.

Hi Warren

The girl doing my web design sent me a PDF file which I will send to Kinko'sFedex on line. I think it will cost about .75cts a page. I have a thousand tear sheets from the GUild Resource book so I will start out with 200...0r if the price is better for more. I'll start with 500. These will go to everyone I know. Friends, family ,clients , designers. these will be people I know. Then I will also send to some galleries, newspapers , mags. decorators and architects from mailing lists I've amassed.... I actually caught the mistake of no web address, so that and the email address will be added to it. I'll let you know how much and what happens. SteelyJan
