Hey Gillis,

Here is a rendering of the emblem in the form of a ring. I wanted to keep the main symbol the same, and carry the theme of the symbol around the ring without duplicating the exact symbol throughout. To the right side of the symbol the theme is carried out slightly different than on the left. I wanted to play with the theme a bit to see what I could come up with...I like the left side much better!!!-just my opinion.

The sketch above the one with the symbol is a rendering of the spiral, which I would like to placed on the bottom side of the ring-the side of your palm.

The sketches are drawn in the form of the Anticlastic ring style that I posted, which you've seen. At the very bottom of the page I drew a tube style ring that we can adapt the renderings to, and use a thicker gage metal than what I use for the Anticlastic style ring if you prefer.

The symbol and theme will be overlay work, and adding a Blackened Antique finish will make the symbol and theme stand out. Basically, what I colored in with pencil will be the negative of the design, so the Patina will settle in that area. The areas I left original to the color of the paper will be the overlay work, which will be raised and kept silver. The Patina will outline the overlay and tone it down as well.
