I've used a tiny, tiny oxy/acet torch to tack weld this stuff onto a frame. Takes a bit of work and you have to concentrate the heat on the heavier frame, but it is pretty controllable to avoid the blow-out of the screen that is pretty typical when trying to MIG it. Nice screen. I like the organic look to it. Neutiquam erro. |

Thanks, All.
Haven't taken a photo of the back yet,-not very interesting, but it is still awaiting delivery so I could!
The mesh is expanded raised mesh rather than woven, fairly ridgid-ish so don't need to stretch. I used to spot weld this stuff to the back of 3/8 or 1/2" square bar on plain firescreens..tricky to get it to stick and not blow away, and even that little bit of heat had a habit of putting a ripple in the mesh as it cooled. This one I rivetted. Seems to have worked...
