This dusty corner of Art Metal under Jim's umbrella is obviously the place for jewellers, so I'm posting it again.

Making these is very theraputic.

A long time ago I did an Etruscan chain with three links . I thought it was hard. Is this the sort of thing that you mean?

Yes, the system for making these chains does go back a very long time to the Etruscans and before I believe. I enjoy having this historical link (no pun intended) in the work. I'll get it together and describe the process properly, maybe a picture or two and you could tell me if this is what you made?

I'm pretty sure we are talking about the same thing. I found it confusing at first but after that first inch, it was easier. It's been so long I am sure that I would have to relearn it.
