New Work-Vessel

here's a new piece I put together for my show this weekend...Rob ....you saw this at Barryville Arts...but it wasn't done. Did a nice kinda locking system to hold the lid in place.
Rob please note: the patina on the bottom piece took really a mahogony-bronze type color and the patina (same patina) took blueish-black on the top piece...go figure???
I am not the patina guru...patina does what patina wants to do. Fortunately...it works for me. I have two other wall pieces that I'll try to photograph in the morning before installation...so you will all have to wait. SteelyJan

Hi Janet!
This turned out great! I think the combinations of patinas works really well with this piece. Something I really didn't appreciate with your work until I saw it in person (this being a good example) is how wonderfully finished your work is- a cross between sculpture and fine jewelry. Good luck with your show this weekend! Is this show something you are doing with Walter (I thought I saw his name on it also)?
