Nearly finished one more shift on Monday to pressure test and last of the air lines and it's done till the offical shut in early September when we can install nozzels and transition pipe work. Very happy with the result considering the rain and workforce avaiable. The two lime kilns in the photo's are kilns's 5 and 6 , K6 is 120m tall which = over 300 feet high, K5 is shorter and that is the one we installed the cannons on at level 4, the walkway crossover between the two kilns in windy condition is always interesting and not for everyone if a little danger is present.
The view from the top of K6 is very impressive and can see perth city to the north, the hills to the east,Cockburn Sound and Garden Island to the west and Kwinana industrial area to the south.
Feels good now it's so close to the end.
