Hi Will; the industrial yet

Hi Will; the industrial yet artistic look of your metal man is great! I`m not sure if you still need to finish the legs or what, but it looks perfect to me as it is, cause it gives some nice accents, and cuts off the otherwise complete mechanical look. nevertheles you`re the artist at work. Another detail I like a lot is his bending that steel piece. Excellent, and it would make a very appealing figure for shop`s logo, perhaps your own ... Nelson.

Yeah, he's beginning to

Yeah, he's beginning to scare me a little!

All done now, have added some little horns to his head.
Legs are finished - have left them a little more anatomical than upper body. They looked well proportioned as I worked up the torso, but I think they look a little spindly now ! ?

Will post another photo or two when he's galvanised.

Incidentally, He looks pretty good when you stand back, but up close theres some NASTY fabrication going on!

Oh Yeah

Will,
Hey that is really cool. I like the way you worked in the angles. Yeah leave him in a steel color, no rust. I sure wish I had the time to finish up some of the stuff I started a while back. Dang day job and all sorts of little stuff.

Viewing angle

Hi Will;
I don't know if it's the viewing angle, but he looks a bit top-heavy to me. Aside from that, he will make a dy-no-mite cigar store indian for your studio!
He should scare away all but the most determined buyers.

Really love that sculpture

Really love that sculpture Will, it is very dynamic, it brought to mind a sculpture by Umberto Boccioni an Italian sculptor. I think it is called `unique forms of continuity, time and space`. I think it is the head that reminds me of it.
Again you have made a fantastic piece of work Will, where is it for? Cannot wait to see more pics.
