Copper torso gets a back and skeleton.(front)

Dont know when we first posted the female torso, critique suggested that the mounting was letting the piece down. So we made her back and hung it on forged skeleton. Really pleased with the results.
Love some feedback

Andy and

Andy and Michelle,

Absolutely magnificent! The contrast between the grace and the macabre is visually arresting and very captivating. It makes me want to walk around it, peer inside it and under it and down its severed maw, so to speak. I love it!

Andy and Michelle, Wow the

Andy and Michelle,
Wow the patina you have on the front is really great. Sure does give it a whole new perspective with the back and the skeleton....I really like it. The steel and the copper look great together. Back is a little creepy looking but cool. Is it life size?

thankyou

Hi Warren
Glad you like it, it is a disturbingly beautiful piece. The colours are lovely, accidental though from the constant enealing. Yes it is lifesize, but we reckon she was about 4 foot 6 tall.

I agree with the "absolutely magnificent" comment Rich made. The natural colors from the copper firing is perfect. The skeletal mounting is perfect for the torso. The contrast between the two forms are perfect. The spine showing through the backside is perfect.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! ART is evident in this sculpture.

Thank you for sharing!
