Copper torso gets a back and skeleton.(front)

Sculpture Gallery | forged steel. raised copper Dont know when we first posted the female torso, critique suggested that the mounting was letting the piece down. So we made her back and hung it on forged skeleton. Really pleased with the results. ![]() Andy and Michelle, Wow the

I agree with the "absolutely magnificent" comment Rich made. The natural colors from the copper firing is perfect. The skeletal mounting is perfect for the torso. The contrast between the two forms are perfect. The spine showing through the backside is perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect! ART is evident in this sculpture. Thank you for sharing! ![]() This is a fabulous piece.

Absolutely magnificent! The contrast between the grace and the macabre is visually arresting and very captivating. It makes me want to walk around it, peer inside it and under it and down its severed maw, so to speak. I love it!
