This will be an ornament on something,not sure what yet.
I'm thinking about entering the Ashes to Art Show (funerary containers). It's an international show with artist's works from all over the world,some amazing stuff really. I'm thinking this might be the ornament for the lid of a container for a sailor's ashes...
Welded,forged stainless steel- 4 " diameter respectively.

Very wonderful Stephen! This would be very meaningful to someone (anyone,actually) who had recently lost someone involved in marine arts, sciences, etc. I could also see it sitting atop my computer if I worked in a marine biology lab, or perhaps a hood ornament if I did field work. Actually, now, that would be quite cool! Kinda makes me wish I was a marine biologist!
