Exciting news,this past weekend we installed our 4 outdoor peace sign inspired sculptures at the Museum at Bethel Woods, Bethel NY. The is the original site of the Woodstock concert. When my husband Walter suggested the concept , neither one of us realized how close our studio was to this site...and in a twist of fate the pieces found there way back to the garden!
They will be on display up the promenade on the way to the Museum for the entire season of 2011. Opening this weekend April 2- December 31st!
I cannot believe this wonderful opportunity has been bestowed upon us! We will be the first artists to have work on display, we are hoping to coordinate an on-going sculpture park with one of the Centers administrators...stay tuned!

Of course the morning of the installation had to be about 10 degrees with the winds whipping across the landscape! I was frozen to my sculpture in this photo! And we thought we would be putting them into concrete...NOPE! They had to be installed in the grassy areas..Walter quickly came up with the idea of drilling more holes into the stone bases and we ran back to the studio and made rods out of 1/2" round stock, heating the tops and pounding them into a nail head...Each rod was 24"+ and we went back and pounded them into the semi frozen ground!
