New Piece: Warrior Women With Weapons: Series

here's a new piece from my martial arts inspired work. I'm donating this one to my new Hapkido school for a young woman who was diagnosed with cancer. With no health insurance, the dojang has funded many drives for her. I'm hoping this piece will fetch some good money for the cause. SteelyJan

Hi Janet, I like your piece a lot. Is it a painting with texture? Please tell us briefly how you did it. Don`t mean to highjack tecniques.That metal element I guess, crossing the frame makes the work disruptively appealing. Excuse me, I don`t know what I`m talking about! First of all...Nelson I love that expression diruptively appealing. I might name a piece after that!!!
so creative....
The image is simply plasma cut. I used to work with my plasma cutter a lot. I don't seem to use it too much right now.Then the piece is partially patinaed. I used some weld to create the texture. Thanks for the interest. I hope some people will really want it so it will bring in some good money! SteelyJan
