New Sculpture...no name yet

The past two weekends have been a purging of my studio.....I took apart my steel rack and rearranged everything in order to actually inventory my steel....
then I cleaned out all my scrap bins....wow...that feels good. Housecleaning of a sorts. Here's a new small scale piece....also started a railing , another commission.... SteelyJan

Cleaning out the work space always feels good. I can't start in a messy space. Where is this picture of the new piece taken? I didn't think you had a back yard like that! LOL

Upstate Studio....

I still have a few bins to go...but I can actually see all my metal...how long that will last only time will tell. Walter promised me a metal rack which is more accessible. Maybe he will build it this winter.
This is my upstate "dream" studio...it's on 24 acres of land.I waited a long time for it but now I'm loving it! That's actually my front yard! SteelyJan

No we do weekends unless one of us has a project.....can't cut the city loose yet. Still dependent on it for work....I like both!Thanks Mele! SteelyJan
