Very Nice

Janet,
As always you've created another gorgeous piece.
This is very graceful yet the movement depicted from the horse gives you that Warrior steed feel not to mention it's Trojan like Mane.
Well Done!

Great Horse

I tend to like most things horse-related, but this is wonderful. I love it.

Thank you...Everyone

I think there will be more of these to come....I have always loved horses but never have the opportunity to ride any more.
I'm still at my studio ...have another show this Saturday which will be up for a month at a real estate office in Milford Pa.
It's a tough place to show...no hanging on the walls. They have a hanging system which probably won't support anything too heavy...trying to put some small pieces together. I'll keep you posted....really love my metal family!!!
It's great having you out there. SteelyJan

Hi Janet, the sculpture

Hi Janet, the sculpture looks fantastic. It is very graceful and stoic at the same time. I think it would make an awesome life size sculpture if you ever got the opportunity. Nice work.

That's the idea....

Thanks to My Extended Metal Family....

he's not too big maybe about 18" high x 24" x2"
but I would sure like the opportunity t build a life size one...maybe for a horse farm or race track....dream on....
The initial shape was some negative of something I had plasma cut....lent itself to a horses figure....migged from there alittle Hossfeld bending and "tada"..I'm smitten with it right now. I hope I get over myself.

It all starts with a dream!

It all starts with a dream! Dream BIIIIIIGGGGGGG! It will happen...I say keep the excitement...doors will open...works every time!

Refer to Jake's Presentation...it's happening to him!

I personally like the race track idea the best...

Cheers!

WOW! Janet!

That's quite a compliment! Thank you = }

Well, honestly I just take all my images with a point and click camera...the macro setting is awesome! It lets you get up close to the images without having to zoom in. Just remember to take the image according to how you see the object. Angles are good...get on the floor...lay on the floor if you have to. Do what ever you need to do to get the best results! Most of all get inspired, and let the creativity flow!!!!!

The image is just an extension of your art, and is really art in itself.

BTW I was in New York on holiday back in March...LOVED IT! I met Valentin Yotkov, which was the whole reason I went...his studio was great! I plan to get there again, but just not sure when. I will have to meet up with you when that time comes. Its wonderful to meet others that share passion.

Cheers! Keep dreaming, and all will be revealed!
