You've succeeded getting the image here and more importantly you have succeeded portraying an Eagle's head.I like it a lot.
What size is it? Great proportions. Welcome back.

Coming from you that means a lot Frank.

the length of the head is about 7", give or take, and about 3 1/2" wide, give or take. Trying to make it semi-life size. It's fun. we'll see how the rest of the body goes.

the eye is a combo of mild steel for the pupil and copper for the colored part of the eye......what ever the proper term is........

it's a commission for a guy who collects driftwood. He wants the eagle mounted on a big branch he had found. He wants it to look like it just landed, so i will need to build the whole body.
