Hello everyone.
Here`s this bamboo vase and Kalas, fresh flowers for a year that just begins. It`s forged mild steel. May you all sense the scent of them as a wish for a Happy New Year to all. nelson.

Green

Hi Nelson,
Nice...The green color is promising, I like that. After five straight days of Lake Effect snow, green really is appealing. During a break in the snow, I did some welding out side. Not too artful though. I made some braces for a friends smoke stack.

High winds turned everything in the woods into a snow sculpture, so beautiful.... bone chilling cold, but it still warms my soul.

These flower vase could have been more elaborate, but considering it was made in a hurry for a friends birthday, I believe it didn`t turned out that bad. The key here: the color treatment. Some other vase much more complicated than this one drew no attention as it lacked colors of this sort.Live and learn...nelson.

Nice Work Nelson, the flowers and vase are beautiful. Love the coloring. I'd try to smell them, but I think my nose is frozen, lol. -12 degrees tonight.

Thanks! By the way, there was an unanswered post about a local stainless committion contest I was after, well I`m supposed to submit application this week ( the signing in page of the contest didn`t work well, so I`m not sure if they`ll still let me in. Sad, it wasn`t my computer, but the site itself... 12 degrees ain`t bad unless the have a minus sign in front lol. Keep warm. nelson.

Hi Nelson, I'm so sorry if I missed a post. I just went looking for it and can't seem to find the one your referring. Can you direct me to it? I feel your frustration with some of the online applications. I've had trouble with about 50% of them. Kind of nerve racking since I usually wait till a day or two before a call is due to submit it.
