Pretty nice rooster indeed. Did you make the two halves and then welded them together, or is it only one-sided view? I think this might be the best, and easier way to take on my personal macaws project... I know what you mean by not having some materials readily available in other latitudes. ![]() Thank you Nelson! Hi Moti, Nice work on the Rooster, it looks great. Birchwood Casey makes a brown patina for steel that is pretty easy to use. I'm not sure how available it is in your neck of the woods, but it might be worth looking into. If it's not, I'm sure there is someone here that knows how to make a home concoction to do the same thing.
