Antinous

How surprising to find a contemporary representation of this ideal image, Antinous. It is a worthy addition to the almost 2,000 years since the originals in marble and bronze. Your sense of line has the spontaneity of, say, Picasso, with the sense of inevitability which classical art connotes. One of the comments, "I could contemplate this forever," is exactly the point: it will be. Are there other images of your Antinous from different perspectives? What is the scale? Is it on exhibit?

Martin- On this website we

Martin-
On this website we have had the discussion of "artist vs. craftsman" on many occasions. In my opinion, this represents artistry in its purest form. Using a (relatively) simple technique and just a few "lines" you have captured the beauty and femininity of this piece. My hat is off to you- this is truly an exceptional piece. Congratulations!
