Suddenly, getting mail is dangerous. Seriously, though - haven't planted this outside my house yet. But I have warned the mail carrier.

I love this mailbox! What kind of metal is it made of & what are the dimensions? Also, does it bite?

thanks, peggy. it is carbon steel. dimensions: about 4 feet tall with a wingspan of about two feet.. doesn't bite.. but has a sharp wit.. ;-)

Wow, just the sort of mailbox to keep all the bills away!! Agree that you must keep trip hazards away from the box. Almost a `beware of mailbox` sign needs to be put around it HA HA.
