Sculpture Gallery | Welded Steel Sculpture Here is something new from my twisted mind! [Laugh] It's 7 and 1/2 feet tall by 5 feet wide. Hollow balls with 15/16th pipe. A little over 800 joints if you count both sides of the balls. TIGed it all. Getting pretty good at it if I do say so myself. (wait a minute, I did...) The hardest part was not falling asleep while welding ALL those joints! Because I never had Geometry in school I never know how hard something is going to be. I just kind of figure it out as I go and just have fun doing it. Mary (the photog) said "Thank you" » reply  Very Cool! I like it Rusted,

This is WAY cool!! I really like this gentle twist in this piece. Must have been a real challange to do in a piece this size!
Even the photo is great with the cast shadow. Nice work!
