Jake the Dragon

Jake the Dragon

Finally, it took me almost 4 months to somewhat finish this. This is my first actual sculpture made from found metal. I don't have much experience with welding but I'm quite proud of myself for having accomplished this. I named it after my son Jacob because I couldn't think of any other. There's still a little bit of work it needs but I felt I had to put up something. Hope you enjoy. It's 8 feet long by about 5 feet wide.

Just to clear this up

Everyone keeps asking me where the arms are. The answer is that they are part of the wings. I still have yet to put the claws on the bend of the wing. I added some more scales to it so it looks a little more obvious. There's a stand/cart thats still in progress. It will give Jake a little more detail instead of laying on the ground.
