Rusted Sculptures update

Hi Guys,

It's been a while since my last posting. Thought you might want an update...
I have been really busy with the rusted sculptures. Did some shows and exhibitions, won the peoples choice award in one of them. I had to work hard to have some pieces to show, in each exhibit. People really dig my work. I am starting to make a name in the surrounding area fast, had a lot of media and press coverage. Right now I'm preparing for an exhibition that I'm participating in next week, a sculpture-route with around 30 international artist. Looking forward to it. So all is well. I will post some pics too, and you can check out my website. Did not have time to update the english part of it though. The dutch part does show the new work. Just follow the link, on the homepage click on the english flag if you want to see more.

rusty found objects

Hi Josh, I'm a newbi here and have been checking out the galleries. Though I've viewed sculptures by many tallented and skilled artisens I find yours most appealing as this is where my passion lies. Since I'm self taught finding the shapes that fit the puzzle comes easier than figuring out how to fabricate which is a skill unto itself. I want to learn how to fabricate, just haven't found the time. I'm curently trying to get a horse head started but haven't found anything to empassion me. Do you start with clean steel or do you just clean the weld sites? Also is that natural rust or have you treated it and last are you using a mig with flux cored wire? I enjoy your web-site as well.Hope to see more stuff soon.

Wow Josh!!!!

I've been away...catching up to the posts. I love your horse.....you do wonders with scrap. There is definetely an art form within itself to scrap art. Doesn't always work....this does. Congratulations !!! Keep us informed. Janet R.
